Kerala High Court to Hear Plea to Quash FIR Against Actress in Assault Case

Actress Lakshmi R Menon and others, accused of abducting and assaulting an IT professional in August, have approached the Kerala High Court seeking quashing of the criminal case filed against them.

The Court briefly heard the matter on October 23, with the Public Prosecutor seeking time to obtain instructions, and listed the next hearing for November 7.

Earlier, the Court had granted anticipatory bail to the actress and two others after the complainant submitted an affidavit stating the dispute was amicably settled and he did not wish to proceed with the matter.
