POCSO Case Registered Against Four Isha Foundation Staff & Former Student in Coimbatore

An FIR has been registered against four staff members of Isha Foundation and a former student of a school run by the foundation in Coimbatore, under various provisions of the POCSO Act and IPC.

According to the complaint filed by the mother, her child was subjected to repeated molestation by a fellow student between 2017 and 2019 and was allegedly instructed not to inform his parents. 

The survivor’s mother has demanded the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the matter. Isha Foundation has refuted the allegations, calling them "false, malicious, and defamatory."
