The Saudi Ministry of Justice has launched a Unified Translation Centre on its e-Litigation platform to streamline judicial translation services.
The system centralises requests from litigants, lawyers, and courts, ensuring real-time monitoring and faster processing. It also offers remote interpretation, including sign language, through videoconferencing to assist non-Arabic speakers during court hearings. Access is integrated with the Najiz digital portal, where users can directly request interpreters.
The initiative, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030 reforms, aims to eliminate language barriers, enhance transparency, and safeguard due process by ensuring accurate and accessible communication in judicial proceedings.
