4PM Channel Blocked for “Anti-India Content”, Government Tells Delhi High Court
The Central Government informed the Delhi High Court that the 4PM YouTube channel was blocked due to content allegedly promoting anti-India sentiment, propaganda, and attempts to influence public opinion.
The blocking was carried out in March 2026 following a government request.
The channel has challenged the action before the Court, arguing a lack of transparency and absence of a proper blocking order or reasons.
The matter now involves examination of the government’s powers to regulate online content in the interest of national security and public order, as well as the procedural safeguards required while taking such action.
