The Kerala High Court reprimanded a litigant claiming to be an advocate for her disorderly conduct while challenging a divorce decree before a Division Bench of Justice Devan Ramachandran and Justice M.B. Snehalatha.
The Court noted she appeared in full robes, refused to remove her gown despite directions, and made shocking, indecent remarks against the Bench. The Court recorded that she raised her voice, refused to listen, and imputed improper motives to the judges.
Observing that her writ petition was not maintainable under Article 226, since a statutory appeal lay under Order XVI CPC, the Court dismissed it while urging the Bar Council to examine her professional conduct.
