After Arvind Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia also Boycotts Proceedings Before Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma

After Arvind Kejriwal, former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister, Manish Sisodia also decided to boycott proceedings in the Delhi Excise Policy case before Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma of the Delhi High Court.

In a letter addressed to the judge, Sisodia stated that his concerns regarding impartiality remained unresolved despite the rejection of the recusal plea.

He referred to the judge’s alleged association with certain events and the professional engagement of her children with Central Government panels.

Earlier, Kejriwal and other accused had sought Justice Sharma’s recusal, which was rejected by the Court, holding that litigants cannot seek recusal based on unfounded apprehensions of bias.
