Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that artificial intelligence and modern technology could present fresh challenges to the justice delivery system.
Speaking at the launch of Solicitor General Tushar Mehta’s books, The Bench, the Bar and the Bizarre and The Lawful and the Awful, Shah emphasized that technology and justice must work in harmony.
He noted that Mehta’s work examines these emerging technological impacts through concrete examples, urging a deep understanding of associated warnings.
Shah also highlighted the importance of mutual respect between the executive and judiciary, noting that constitutional norms have remained intact in India for 76 years.
