P&H High Court Upholds Panjab University Law Entrance Exam Amid Difficulty Challenge

The Punjab and Haryana High Court dismissed a plea challenging the difficulty level of Panjab University's 5-year law entrance exam, emphasizing that competitive exams are designed to assess all candidates uniformly.

The bench noted that perceptions of question difficulty are subjective and cannot form the basis for legal intervention.

Quoting Shakespeare's Hamlet, the Court highlighted the inherent challenges in satisfying all examinees.

The court concluded that since all candidates faced the same exam conditions, there was no violation of Article 14, and the petition lacked merit.
