Allahabad HC Grants Bail to YouTuber Mani Meraj Amid Proposed Marriage Under Special Marriage Act

The Allahabad High Court granted bail to YouTuber Mani Meraj, also known as Ramdi Miraj Alam, accused of rape, assault, unnatural offences, and forced abortion.

Justice Gautam Chowdhary set a condition that he must marry the victim under the Special Marriage Act within two weeks of release.

The accused was arrested in October last year after the victim's statements under  Sections 180 and 183 BNSS.

If he fails to marry within two weeks, the victim can seek bail cancellation.
