Allahabad High Court Sends Judge for Judicial Training Over Poorly Reasoned Orders

The Allahabad High Court directed Additional District Judge (ADJ) Dr. Amit Verma to undergo a three-month training in judgment writing at the Judicial Training and Research Institute, Lucknow.

Justice Neeraj Tiwari found the ADJ’s orders in two cases, including a landlord-tenant dispute, lacked proper reasoning and repeated earlier mistakes.

The Court criticised the judge for repeating the same mistake and quashed the order and transferred the matter to another judge in Kanpur Nagar for a fresh hearing.
