Allahabad High Court Urges Implementation of FASTER System for Quick Bail Execution

Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal emphasized that bail orders must be promptly communicated electronically to prison authorities, aligning with Supreme Court directives.

The Court highlighted issues such as the non-functioning of the National Prisoner Information Portal and staff shortages in district courts, instructing authorities to address these concerns.

Advocates also urged compliance with digital measures for efficiency.

The next hearing in the case is scheduled for January 31, 2025.
