Amazon Challenges ₹340 Crore Trademark Infringement Verdict in Delhi High Court

Amazon Technologies Inc. approached the division bench of the Delhi High Court to contest a single-judge order from February 2025, which directed the company to pay ₹340 crore in damages for infringing the ‘Beverly Hills Polo Club’ trademark. 

Amazon contends that Lifestyle Equities failed to provide sufficient evidence of infringement before the single-judge bench and argues that the matter requires a detailed examination by the division bench.

The division bench, led by Justice Hari Shankar, has scheduled the next hearing for May 7, 2025.
