Arrest Warrant Issued Against Robin Uthappa for EPF Fraud

An arrest warrant has been issued against former Indian cricketer Robin Uthappa in connection with alleged fraud involving Employee Provident Fund (EPF) dues.

Uthappa, identified as the director of Centaurus Lifestyle Brands Pvt Ltd, is accused of failing to deposit ₹23.36 lakh in EPF contributions deducted from employees' salaries.

The warrant was issued by Shadakshara Gopal Reddy, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner - II, after Uthappa's non-compliance with payment orders. 

The warrant will be void if Uthappa settles the dues by December 27. He faces charges under Section 405 of the Indian Penal Code for breach of trust.
