Aryan Khan Bribery Case: CBI Assures Bombay High Court of Probe Completion Against Sameer Wankhede in 3 Months

The CBI informed the Bombay High Court that it will complete its investigation against ex-NCB officer Sameer Wankhede within three months in the ₹25-crore bribery case linked to Aryan Khan’s 2021 arrest.

The Court, while hearing Wankhede’s plea to quash the FIR, expressed concern over delays and admitted the petition. Wankhede is accused of extorting money from Shah Rukh Khan in exchange for leniency toward his son.

He faces charges under IPC Sections 120-B and 388, and the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Interim protection continues, with the charge sheet filing subject to prior court approval. (Sameer Wankhede v CBI)
