Chief Justice of Australia Stephen Gageler visits Supreme Court, shares dais with CJI Gavai

Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, Stephen Gageler, visited the Supreme Court of India and sat on the bench with Chief Justice B.R. Gavai and Justices K. Vinod Chandran and N.V. Anjaria.

The visit, part of Justice Gageler’s official trip for the “Delhi Arbitration Weekend,” included observing courtroom proceedings for over an hour. He was welcomed by the Chief Justice of India and Solicitor General Tushar Mehta.

The visit highlights the strong judicial ties between India and Australia. It provides a valuable opportunity for legal minds from both nations to observe and learn from each other's legal systems, fostering a deeper understanding and cooperation on a global stage.
