Paytm Files Insolvency Plea Against WinZO for ₹3.6 Crore Advertising Dues

One97 Communications Limited (Paytm) has filed an insolvency petition under the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) against gaming platform WinZO Games, citing non-payment of approximately ₹3.6 crore for advertising services.

A bench of Judicial Member Justice Jyotsna Sharma and Technical Member Anu Jagmohan Singh was convened in Delhi and issued a notice to WinZO, granting the company two weeks to file its response. The tribunal has scheduled the next hearing for December 15.

Paytm asserted that WinZO had defaulted on four invoices issued in June-July 2025 under purchase orders for promoting real-money gaming products on the Paytm platform. WinZO, in its defence, claimed the invoices were withheld for “validation” under the contract terms.
