Ban on Social Media and Online Gaming - Kerala HC

An official memorandum issued by the HC registrar restricts its staff from using social media, online gaming, movies, online trading, etc. during court hours and lunch recess except for official purposes. 

This action was taken to avoid any kind of disruption in day-to-day office work.

Senior officers provided with mobile phones and chauffeurs are exempted under the memorandum. 

The court directed the Controlling officer to monitor and restrict the staff on this matter.
