Bengaluru Man Arrested for Raping College Student Staying as Paying Guest

A man named Ashraf was arrested in Bengaluru after a college student accused him of rape. The student, staying as a paying guest at Ashraf's accommodation, filed a complaint alleging that Ashraf forced her into a car, drove her to a room, and sexually assaulted her.

She stated that Ashraf demanded sexual favours in exchange for food and accommodation. After the assault, Ashraf allegedly dropped her back at the PG premises.

An FIR has been registered, and police have arrested Ashraf. The investigation is ongoing.
