Bengaluru Stampede Case: Karnataka High Court Appoints Senior Advocate S. Susheela as Amicus Curiae

The Karnataka High Court has appointed Senior Advocate S. Susheela as amicus curiae in the suo motu case concerning the June 4 stampede near Bengaluru’s Chinnaswamy Stadium that killed 11 during RCB’s IPL victory celebrations.

The Division Bench, led by Acting Chief Justice Kameswar Rao, directed the court registry to share all relevant materials with the amicus. 

The Court has made RCB, the Karnataka State Cricket Association, and DNA Events parties to the case. The matter is listed for hearing on July 1. Interim bail has already been granted to four arrested individuals.
