Bombay HC Accepts Apology for Messaging Judge on WhatsApp

After the High Court refused to stay the custody order, she messaged Justice Sathaye on WhatsApp, sending further messages and videos from alternate numbers after being blocked.

Admitting to the messages, the mother cited emotional stress and desperation for her child.

The Court viewed her actions as an attempt to interfere with justice, bordering on contempt, but acknowledged her anxiety-driven conduct.

The Court accepted her apology, discharged the show-cause notice, and cautioned her against repeating such behavior.
