Bombay High Court Judge Could Not Upload a Judgment for Six Months, Explained the Delay in Uploading

Justice Madhav Jamdar of the Bombay High Court dictated an 85-page judgment in open court on December 19, 2024, but the order was uploaded on May 30, 2025.

In his order, he mentioned the reason for the delay. He stated that he regularly works beyond court hours and leaves his chamber by 11:30 PM, holds court for 2 to 2.5 hours daily outside regular sessions, signs orders late at night, and reads case papers until 2:00 AM.

He also utilizes weekends and holidays to manage pending work. Therefore, there was a delay in uploading this order.
