Swiss Army Knife Maker Gets Relief from Bombay High Court Against Unauthorised Listings on Amazon

The Bombay High Court has directed Amazon Seller Services to immediately remove all Victorinox (which manufactures Swiss Army Knives) - branded product listings by Gute Reise India Pvt Ltd, pending arbitration proceedings.

Victorinox India highlighted that its former authorised dealer continued unauthorised listings despite a July 9 arbitral order prohibiting such sales.

The court also acknowledged emails from Gute Reise to Amazon, urging the removal of listed products, yet emphasised urgency due to Amazon Prime Day commencing on July 12.

Amazon must now remove all Victorinox items from its listings; however, Gute Reise is still permitted to sell products that are not affiliated with Victorinox. The case is scheduled for additional hearings on July 30, 2025.
