The Bombay High Court on October 8 directed actor Shilpa Shetty and businessman Raj Kundra to deposit ₹60 crore before hearing their plea to travel abroad. The couple sought quashing of a Look Out Circular issued over an FIR alleging a ₹60 crore fraud, filed by businessman Deepak Kothari, who accused them of misusing funds meant for business expansion between 2015–2023.
Their proposed travel included Los Angeles for a YouTube event, Colombo, and the Maldives. The complainant opposed the plea, citing flight risk. The Court adjourned the matter to October 14, asking the couple to submit event details and communications.
