Bombay High Court Quashes FIRs Between Rakhi Sawant and Ex-Husband After Amicable Settlement

The Bombay High Court has quashed an FIR filed by celebrity Rakhi Sawant against her ex-husband Adil Durrani under Sections 498A (cruelty) and 377 (unnatural sex) of the IPC.

The FIR, lodged in 2023 during their marital disputes, was quashed after the couple reached an amicable settlement. Sawant told the court she had “no objection” to quashing the case.

Similarly, the court also quashed an FIR filed by Durrani against Sawant for allegedly sharing his obscene photos, as he too submitted a “no objection” affidavit. Both were present in court during the proceedings.
