Campus Activewear Sues Campus Sutra Over Trademark Infringement in Delhi High Court

Campus Activewear Ltd. filed a lawsuit in the Delhi High Court, seeking a permanent injunction against Campus Sutra for allegedly infringing its “Campus” trademark, copyrights, and engaging in passing off.

Justice Amit Bansal heard the case on July 15, during which Campus Sutra’s counsel acknowledged that only 3 out of 11,000 designs inadvertently used the standalone “Campus” mark, and those listings have been taken down.

Campus Sutra also agreed not to use “Campus” independently until the next hearing. The Court issued notice and scheduled interim relief arguments for November 10.
