The Consortium of National Law Universities has invited suggestions and feedback from the public for the reform of the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2027, with submissions open until November 4, 2025.
An independent committee of academic experts, chaired by a former Supreme Court judge and including international scholars, will review the exam’s structure, syllabus, and question quality, while benchmarking it against global tests such as the LSAT (US) and LNAT (UK).
The consultation is part of the medium and long-term reforms planned for CLAT 2027.
Stakeholders have been invited to submit their inputs via a designated online form, facilitating inclusive participation in shaping the examination framework.
