CNLU Council approved 2-day Menstrual Leave for Female Students

Chanakya National Law University (CNLU) has introduced a new menstrual leave policy granting female students two days off each month and allowing them to complete their coursework from home during this period.

The Executive Council held the meeting and approved the option for students to fast-track courses by opting more than the required number of courses annually. New academic programs in cybersecurity digital forensics were also approved, along with new LLM regulations emphasizing over 50% of research components.

The Vice-Chancellor stressed the importance of reducing academic stress for better student life, while the Education department's secretary, Baidyanath Yadav, promised government support to transform the university’s infrastructure and teaching-learning programmes into an academic excellence center.
