The Consortium of National Law Universities has submitted a transfer petition to the Supreme Court aiming to merge several petitions that contest the CLAT-2025 results, which are presently before the High Courts of Delhi, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, Bombay, Madhya Pradesh, and Punjab & Haryana.
The Supreme Court panel, headed by Chief Justice Sanjiv Khanna, is scheduled to discuss the request on January 15, 2025.
This action follows a directive from the Delhi High Court on December 20, 2024, which instructed the consortium to amend the results due to mistakes in two answer key questions.
The consortium of NLUs seeks to avoid the duplication of legal proceedings and to promote consistency.
