Consumer Court Issues Notice To Bollywood Actors For Misleading Pan Masala Ad

A consumer court in Jaipur issued notice to Bollywood Actors Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, Tiger Shroff, and the product manufacturer regarding an alleged misleading advertisement for Vimal Pan Masala.

The commission summoned them to respond to concerns regarding the ad’s claim that each grain of the product contains saffron. Advocate Yogendra B. filed the complaint, arguing about the tagline of the product “Daane daane mein hai kesar ka dum” which misleads the consumers.

Adv. Yogendra further argued that the product is harmful to health and can cause serious health issues like cancer and called for legal action against the actors.
