Court to decide if Rahul Gandhi is holding dual Citizenship

A plea seeking a CBI probe into Rahul Gandhi's citizenship, alleging dual citizenship, citing emails from the UK government.
As per Article 9 of the Indian Constitution, no individual can simultaneously hold Indian citizenship and that of another country.
The Allahabad High Court directed the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) to decide on the petition by December 19.
A similar plea is pending in the Delhi High Court, which will hear the case after the Allahabad High Court’s decision.
