A Delhi Court framed multiple criminal charges against RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, their son Tejashwi Yadav, and others in the IRCTC scam case.
Special Judge Vishal Gogne of the Rouse Avenue Courts passed the order after all the accused pleaded not guilty, paving the way for trial.
The CBI alleges that while serving as Railway Minister, Lalu accepted prime land and company shares as bribes for awarding contracts to a private firm. The charges include corruption, criminal conspiracy, and cheating under relevant provisions of the IPC and the Prevention of Corruption Act.
The Court has fixed the case for prosecution evidence from October 27, 2025.
