A Delhi Court on June 7 has extended the judicial custody of Tahawwur Hussain Rana, accused in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks, until July 9.
Special Judge Chander Jit Singh passed the order after Rana was produced via video conference. The court also directed Tihar Jail authorities to submit a medical report by June 9 after his counsel raised concerns about his well-being.
Rana, a close aide of David Headley, was extradited from the United States and faces multiple terror-related charges. The next hearing will address his custody status and request to contact his family.
