Delhi Court Seeks CBI Reply On Rabri Devi’s Plea to Transfer IRCTC Scam Trial

A Delhi court has issued notice to the CBI on a plea by former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi seeking transfer of the IRCTC scam case from Special Judge Vishal Gogne to another court. 

Principal District and Sessions Judge Dinesh Bhatt asked the CBI to file its response by December 6. 

Devi has sought transfer of four cases, including the IRCTC hotel scam, land-for-jobs case, and related ED proceedings, alleging reasonable apprehension of bias and lack of judicial neutrality.

However, the Court issued notice only in the IRCTC case and directed her to amend the transfer plea to properly include the remaining matters.
