Delhi High Court Allows Founders of NDTV to Travel Abroad

  • Case Name: Dr Prannoy Roy & Anr. v. UOI & ors.
  • Advocate(s): Advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi and Sandeep Sethi

The Delhi High Court granted NDTV founders Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy permission to travel abroad, specifically to Dubai, from August 1 to August 7.

The court noted that the Roys had previously adhered to conditions set by the court when travelling abroad.

The request was related to a challenge against a lookout circular issued by the Central Bureau of Investigation after two FIRs were filed against them in 2017 and 2019.

The court allowed the travel request under the same conditions as previous permissions.
