Delhi HC Allows Student to Register for JEE (Advanced) Amid Evaluation Error

  • Case Name: Shashank Shekhar Pandey v. Union of India

The Delhi High Court has issued notice to the National Testing Agency (NTA) on a plea by a JEE (Main) 2025 candidate alleging that only 29 out of 46 attempted questions were recorded in his response sheet.

The Court permitted the candidate to register for JEE (Advanced) and directed that his result be kept in a sealed cover until the writ petition is decided.

The NTA has been asked to file a counter-affidavit and submit procedure logs related to Pandey's response sheet. The matter, invoking Article 226, is scheduled for further hearing on May 19.
