Delhi High Court Bars Beauty Salon from Using 'Lotus Herbals' Trademark

The Delhi High Court has granted an interim injunction restraining a beauty salon from using the name “Lotus Salon” or any mark deceptively similar to Lotus Herbals, citing trademark infringement and potential consumer confusion.

Justice Tejas Karia observed that the salon’s use of the mark created a false association with the well-known skincare brand, noting a “triple identity” in name, product category, and trade channels. Lotus Herbals, a well-known brand since April 2025, had issued a cease-and-desist notice after the salon began offering services under the infringing name.

The Court barred further use until the matter is decided.
