The Delhi High Court granted an ex parte ad-interim injunction restraining a Jaipur-based hotel from using a logo featuring a polo-player device that was deceptively similar to the well-known Beverly Hills Polo Club trademark.
The Court held that the impugned marks created a likelihood of consumer confusion and diluted the distinct identity of the registered brand.
The Court directed the hotel to immediately cease use of the infringing logo across all physical and digital platforms and to ensure full compliance within the stipulated timeline.
The injunction was ordered to remain in force until February 02, 2026, subject to further orders.
