The Delhi High Court has restrained Kuku FM from releasing new episodes of five shows after Pocket FM filed a ₹85.7 crore copyright infringement case.
Pocket FM accused Kuku FM of copying its storylines, characters, titles, episode names, and even using a similar poster, violating the Copyright Act, 1957 and indulging in unfair trade practices under consumer laws.
The court also ordered Kuku FM to share full details of the disputed content. This isn’t their first legal clash. Pocket FM earlier sued over its hit show Insta Millionaire.
The case will be heard again on August 29, 2025.
