Delhi HC Grants Interim Protection to Mohan Babu's Rights

The Delhi HC issued an interim order to protect the personality rights of actor Mohan Babu, prohibiting social media platforms, AI chatbots, and e-commerce sites from using his name, voice, or image without permission. 

This action arose from a family property dispute between Mohan Babu and his son, Manoj Manchu, which escalated on December 10, 2024, when Mohan Babu was accused of assaulting a journalist. 

Following the journalist's injury and an FIR, Mohan Babu apologized and took legal steps to safeguard his personality rights.

The next hearing for Mohan Babu's case is scheduled for May 2025.
