Delhi HC Grants Interim Relief to Mirchi in Kareena Kapoor’s Talk Show Copyright Dispute

The Delhi High Court granted interim relief to radio broadcaster Mirchi in its copyright suit against Miss Malini Entertainment Pvt Ltd (MEPL) over the unauthorized upload of clips from the "What Women Want" talk show. 

Mirchi, which owns the intellectual property rights to the show, alleged that MEPL violated an agreement by posting clips on YouTube and Instagram, obscuring Mirchi’s logos and adding its own.

Justice Mini Pushkarna ordered MEPL to remove the videos within 48 hours and restrained the company from using Mirchi’s content on any platform until the next hearing on May 13, 2025.
