Delhi High Court Orders Status Quo on Late Designer Rohit Bal’s Estate

The Delhi High Court has ordered status quo on the estate of late fashion designer Rohit Bal after a plea by Lalit Tehlan, who claims to be the primary beneficiary of Bal’s will.

The Court issued an order of status quo to ensure that property left behind by late fashion designer Rohit Bal is not altered or alienated during the pendency of a dispute regarding his will. 

Lalit Tehlan alleged that Bal’s stepbrother changed locks and blocked his entry, violating the will. He sought an injunction to prevent interference.
