Delhi High Court Denies Bail to Man Accused of Impersonating Amit Shah’s Nephew in 3.9 Cr Cheating Case

The Delhi High Court has denied bail to a man accused of cheating a businessman of 3.9 crores by impersonating the nephew of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The accused allegedly promised favours and contracts using a false identity, extracting significant sums of money. The court cited the seriousness of the offence, potential witness tampering, and the need to maintain public confidence in law enforcement.

The court also said that the accused was involved in another similar case of cheating, which he settled by paying Rs. 75 lakhs to the complainant, and that amount was drawn by the accused from the amount received by him in the present fraud.
