Delhi High Court Reserves Order on Kejriwal’s Plea Seeking Recusal of Justice Sharma

Arvind Kejriwal approached the Delhi High Court seeking recusal of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma from his excise policy case.

He argued that there is a pattern where submissions of the Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate are consistently accepted, creating a reasonable apprehension of bias.

He also pointed to past orders passed after brief hearings and lack of adequate opportunity to respond.

Notably, Justice Sharma is currently hearing only the plea seeking her own recusal. The Court has reserved its order.
