Delhi High Court Bars DB Dixon Battery from Using Shikhar Dhawan's Image Without Authorization

The Delhi High Court restrained DB Dixon Battery from using Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan's image for its products and advertisements following the termination of their endorsement agreement. 

Dhawan alleged the Telangana-based company continued unauthorised use of his brand value despite his requests to cease usage and clear dues of ₹30 lakhs. 

Justice Subramonium Prasad granted interim relief, prohibiting the company from using Dhawan's images until the dispute is resolved through arbitration. Dhawan also sought the appointment of an arbitrator. 

The Court directed Dixon Battery to respond to the plea, with the next hearing scheduled for February 18, 2025.
