Delhi High Court Cancels Bail of a Man Accused of Raping Minor Daughter, Forcing Her to Watch Porn

The Delhi High Court has cancelled the bail of a man accused of repeatedly raping his minor daughter for nearly five years, calling the allegations “perverse and shocking.”

Justice Neena Bansal Krishna set aside the trial court’s order that had granted him bail, holding it failed to consider the seriousness of the charges.

The Court also noted that the victim was allegedly forced to watch pornography as part of the abuse.

Directing the accused to surrender within seven days, the bench stressed that such offences must be dealt with utmost seriousness.
