Delhi High Court Denies Bail to Man in Compelling Spouse for ‘Partner Swaping’

The Delhi High Court denied anticipatory bail to a man accused of forcing his wife into ‘partner swapping’ and soliciting others online for sex with her.

The FIR alleged that he took her to a hotel where his friends molested her and also created a fake social media account using her photos.

The Court held that the case involved serious allegations, including rape and cruelty under IPC sections, and was not a typical matrimonial dispute.

The court also noted that the accused had misused interim protection to contact the complainant, justifying rejection of his bail plea.
