The Delhi High Court directed the Bar Council of India (BCI) to enroll Korean national Daeyoung Jung as a lawyer within two days.
The Bench held that since there was no stay on the single-judge order, BCI could not withhold his enrolment.
Jung had passed the All India Bar Examination (AIBE), but his result was later withheld.
Justice Yashwant Varma earlier ruled that since Indian nationals with Korean law degrees can practice in Korea, Jung should be allowed under Section 24 of the Advocates Act.
The Court directed the BCI to issue his enrolment immediately, with the next hearing on March 28.
