Delhi High Court Directs Mandatory Use of HMIS Software in Hospitals for Real-Time Emergency Updates

The move aims to ensure timely medical care and reduce mismanagement during crises.

The order came while hearing a PIL that flagged severe shortages and delays in emergency situations.

The Court instructed the Delhi government to implement the system transparently, stressing that prompt information-sharing will help save lives through efficient resource allocation and accountability in public health services.
