Delhi High Court Directs Indian Nursing Council To Act On NRTS Representation

The Delhi High Court has directed the Indian Nursing Council (INC) to decide on a representation by the Indian Professional Nurses Association regarding the proper functioning of the Nurses Registration and Tracking System (NRTS).

The association sought better implementation, regular updates, and streamlining of the NRTS in line with the INC's circular dated May 9, 2019.

Disposing of the PIL, the Court directed the INC to take a reasoned and lawful decision and instructed the INC to act on the representation dated March 28 within six weeks of receiving a certified copy of the order and to communicate its decision to the petitioner accordingly.
