Delhi High Court Allows Delhi Hockey Players to Rejoin Sub Junior Women’s Nationals After Dispute

The Delhi High Court has recorded Hockey India’s assurance that players affiliated with Delhi Hockey will be allowed to participate in the ongoing 15th Sub Junior Women National Championship in Ranchi.

Although the players were initially excluded after Delhi Hockey was removed from Hockey India’s official online portal, which is essential for team registration, the federation later agreed to modify the schedule, reschedule missed fixtures, and ensure the team’s continued participation.

The court appreciated this stand and disposed of the plea filed by the affected players. The court also noted that the players were unaware of the administrative dispute between the two bodies. Travel arrangements will be made by Delhi Hockey, with the costs to be reimbursed by Hockey India.
